{{notes}}

Number of cards: {{count}}
Card style: {{style}}

Rules for good cards:
- One idea per card. Split anything that bundles several facts together.
- Write the front as a specific question or cloze, not a vague topic.
- Keep the back short - a single fact or a one-line explanation.
- Avoid cards answerable by guessing yes/no; prefer "what", "why", "how".
- Skip trivia that does not help understanding.

Output the cards as a clean two-column list using "Front | Back" on each
line, so I can paste them straight into a flashcard app. Only use facts
present in the notes; if a point is unclear, leave it out and list it
separately under "Needs clarification".

Fill in the variables

Use the examples as a shape, not as required wording.

Notes: Photosynthesis happens in chloroplasts. The light reactions capture energy; the Calvin cycle (dark reactions) fixes CO2 into glucose. Chlorophyll absorbs mostly red and blue light.

Number of cards: 10
Card style: cloze deletions where it reads naturally, otherwise question and answer.

One idea per card, specific fronts, short backs, output as "Front | Back" lines I can paste into Anki, with anything unclear listed under "Needs clarification".

How to use this template

Three checks keep the result useful and grounded in your actual task.

  1. Give it real context.Replace every variable and remove any instruction that does not apply.
  2. Run it in your preferred model.The template is plain text, so it works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and local models.
  3. Review before you rely on it.Check facts, code, claims, and sensitive information; then save the wording that performed best.
